He pursues them and moves on unscathed,
by a path his feet have not traveled before. - Isaiah 41:3
Ladies and gentlemen, I've decided to cave and put my miscellaneous other links on a page. I'll tell you about them and give you the chance to enjoy some of the browsing I've been able to do in my other free three seconds:
- There aren't too many things on the internet that are useful reading - since most things up there aren't as awesome as this page is *smile*. I HAVE come across some Lutheran weblogs that are worthwhile reading. I don't vouch for everything up there (since I can't predict what other content will be added in the future), but I do think these are good places to read a little about the conversations that are being had about the faith of the Holy Scriptures, Christianity.
Aardvark Alley - I appreciate this site for two things - information about days throughout the church year, and an overarching review of the "Lutheran Blogsphere."
Random Intolerance - Dan and Elle went and got themselves hitched - and as they have become one flesh in marriage, they have come together in one blog.
Theomony - More friends, Kobra and Monergon, and their blog - I hope to see more from them in the post-debate era...
Theology Geek - Here's another guy I've had the chance to chat with on occasion. He has insights and links that are unique as well (just like everyone else's *smile*)
On the other hand, there are other links that I'm not a big fan of (therefore I won't link them). One day I'll let you know why...
- I don't even believe this is a Lutheran Church.
- Affirmation - I do like you... I got this from a friend, and I look at it every so once in a while when I need it.
- The Exorcist in 30 seconds (by bunnies)
This is a great short video animation. I cannot and will not attest to the sanctification of any other videos on that site, but indeed, when this diamond in the rough comes along, you just have to love it... also:
I think many people are afraid to share what they believe because they don't feel they know the Bible well enough. This is a great tool to fix that for yourself, and a great resource to share with others if you're embarrassed to discuss such things. If nothing else, it'd be a great starting point for conversation.
